Sharing the stoke in Bunbury

• ACCIONA continues to share the stoke with our employees, with multiple learn to surf sessions being held around the country this summer.

Our first session was at Bunbury Beach over two days, as the local surf school is too small to accommodate all participants on the one day. But it didn’t stop the fun, with some 48 employees plus their family and friends learning to surf or stand up paddle board in nearby Koombana Bay.

After hosting last year’s WA surf day at Trigg Beach in Perth, it was nice to host this one in Bunbury, 180km south of Perth and where the South West Gateway Alliance (comprised of ACCIONA, NRW Contracting, MACA Civil, AECOM and Aurecon) is currently delivering the Bunbury Outer Ring Road project for Main Roads Western Australia.
