We are proud to support the ACCIONA Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman program, a premier leadership initiative that has recognised and empowered young women from rural, regional and remote communities for more than 60 years.

The program brings together exceptional young women from across New South Wales through a series of Zone Finals leading to the statewide Final at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The program highlights leadership capability, community involvement and the positive contribution of young women to regional life.

Kari White, Director, Brand, Marketing and Communications, acknowledged the achievements of the first of this year's Zone Finalists.

"For decades this program has demonstrated the strength and commitment of young women who play vital roles in regional communities," Ms White said.

"ACCIONA is proud to be playing a role in supporting these young women who are actively contributing to a sustainable future for New South Wales through leadership, innovation and community service."

Entrants progress to Zone Finals after being successful at their respective local shows, reflecting leadership at the community level demonstrating the values the program has upheld for more than six decades.

At the first Zone Final in Mudgee on 24 January, two young women were selected to progress to the State Final.

Taylee Short, representing Cessnock, was selected for her strong advocacy for young parents and her involvement in community events that bring people together.

Bianca Evans, representing Stroud, was acknowledged for developing an equine training business that supports young riders and for her role as a positive mentor within her community.

In Ganmain on 31 January, the next zone final selected three young women whose interests span agriculture, education and community engagement.

Georgia Moody, representing Deniliquin, was selected for her commitment to agricultural innovation, youth development and sustainable farming practices.

Paige Sedgwick, representing Cootamundra, was recognised for community advocacy, volunteer work and her involvement in a wide range of creative and sporting activities.

Daneka Hatty, representing Ganmain, earned her finalist position through her volunteer work as a firefighter, contribution to local events, and dedication to strengthening connections between rural and metropolitan communities.

Across both Zones, the finalists reflect the diverse strengths of their communities, where agriculture, small business, creativity and volunteering continue to play central roles in regional life.

Finalists from all seven Zones will travel to Sydney for a weeklong program that develops leadership, communication and networking skills.

Participants will engage with industry, government and community leaders while forming connections with fellow emerging leaders from across the state.

The 2026 Young Woman winner and runner up will be announced at the Sydney Royal Easter Show on Sunday 5 April at the Amphitheatre.
