ACCIONA is proud to announce our partnership with The Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) of NSW as the naming rights partner of the prestigious Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman program.

ACCIONA is proud to announce our partnership with The Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) of NSW as the naming rights partner of the prestigious Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman program.

Running since 1962, the Young Woman program is a premier leadership initiative for young women, designed to recognise and empower exceptional individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, active community engagement and a passion for rural, regional and remote NSW.

Andre Noonan, ACCIONA’s Chief Operating Officer in Australia and New Zealand expressed his delight in the partnership, reiterating ACCIONA’s commitment to contribute to economic and social development across the country:

“At ACCIONA we are passionate about challenging ourselves to constantly find better, more effective, and more sustainable ways to deliver our projects. A key enabler in achieving this is empowering people to be brave, to be curious and to take the lead - a quality consistently demonstrated by the impressive young women who have participated in this program for decades and the outcomes they have delivered for their communities.”

ACCIONA’s support is focussed on creating even greater opportunities for young women across regional NSW by significantly enhancing the reach, impact and visibility of the program.

RAS President, John Bennett, expressed his enthusiasm for ACCIONA’s support and the exciting potential it brings to broaden the program’s footprint in the years to come.

“The Young Woman competition has been celebrating the next generation of female leaders for over 60 years, and with the support of ACCIONA, we can continue to develop and support these exceptional women, who are driving positive change in their communities and industries across rural, regional and remote NSW”.

The 2026 Young Woman program has commenced with close to 200 young women starting their journey across 172 local shows. The state final will be held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, where the 2026 ACCIONA Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman will be announced.
