ACCIONA has awarded a contract to the Indigenous-owned Multhana for ongoing sanitisation cleaning services for the Brisbane Metro site facilities and information centre.

This marks the second high-profile contract Multhana will deliver for ACCIONA following the landscape construction package for Stage 1 of the Bruce Highway Upgrade (Caboolture-Bribie Island Road to Steve Irwin Way) project in mid-2021.

Multhana Managing Director Joseph Wallace said, “It’s fantastic seeing major companies like ACCIONA engage Indigenous businesses. It sets a precedent for other businesses that Indigenous engagement is growing and will continue to grow.”

The contract follows the current bus sanitisation cleaning Multhana delivers for Brisbane City Council’s fleet of 1200+ buses under Transport for Brisbane.

Multhana is one of the largest Indigenous employers in Southeast Queensland, delivering commercial cleaning, landscaping and maintenance services to organisations looking to increase Indigenous participation within their workforce.
