• Coleman Rail has secured another major project in Western Australia after being contracted to build the Kenwick Rail Freight Facility for the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The project is valued at $50M.

The project will enable the current rail freight operator Arc Infrastructure to move from the existing facility at Bellevue, freeing up the site for the development of a railcar depot in Bellevue, that will be operated by Alstom.

The Kenwick facility will be built on a 17 hectare site adjacent to the rail freight line between Bickley Road and Intermodal Place, Bellevue. The facility will include a Flash Butt Welding production line, overhead gantry cranes, rail track, track machine stowage, administration buildings, material storage facilities, and connections to the existing rail freight network.
