ACCIONA is committed to leaving a lasting legacy in the communities in which we operate. So too are the ACCIONA Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Women finalists. This competition, which has been running for over 60 years, celebrates the genuine dedication these women have to their local community and highlights their impressive list of accomplishments.

With only a few short weeks till the Royal Easter Show, and announcement of the State winner on 5 April, we’re delighted to share the State finalists from the remaining Zone competitions.

Zone 1 Finalist: Kate Hepburn representing Casino

Zone 1 stretches from the Queensland border south to Taree and west to Kyogle. Kate was recognised for a well-rounded background shaped by hands-on experience and community involvement. She works across livestock handling, retail, and nursing, and runs her own Speckle Park Stud. She brings strong industry knowledge, deep community ties and a commitment to mentoring young people in agriculture.

Zone 2 Finalists: Madison Luke, representing Hawkesbury and Charlotte Moriarty, representing Blacktown.

Zone 2 takes in the greater Sydney region, South Coast and the Southern Tablelands. Madison has built a career around her interest in livestock production. She is undertaking PhD research that focuses on improving profitability in livestock systems, and she has represented Australia in meat judging. Madison aims to strengthen agricultural communities and contributes to a range of cattle, sheep and youth programs.
Charlotte works in agriculture and volunteers as a farm hand educator. A member of NSW Farmers Young Farmers, she is focused on developing her livestock skills, supporting the Blacktown Show and helping build resilient rural communities.

Zone 3 Finalist: Emily Greer, representing Crookwell.

Zone 3 stretches from the Victorian border, taking in the Far South Coast and Tablelands and Southern Highlands. Emily is driven to improve livestock welfare and productivity and is studying for a bachelor or Agriculture to compliment her practical industry experience. Committed to connecting with like-minded women, she is a keen advocate of regional life.

Congratulations to all of the Zone finalists. We look forward to meeting them in Sydney and sharing some of our commitment to their communities, through our projects including HumeLink, Central West Orana REZ, Singleton Bypass and ACCIONA Energia’s Gunning Wind Farm, Wallaby Creek Wind Farm project, and Lindsay’s Gap Battery project.
