Srini giving a short speech to thank the ACCIONA team and Weld Australia for their support and recognition.

"This achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of our people, Srini said.

"After narrowly missing out last year, we analysed the outcome, implemented improvements and strengthened our systems. Those efforts have paid off, with three major accreditations positioning us as an industry leader."

The Welding Excellence Awards, hosted by Weld Australia, celebrate individuals and organisations that set new benchmarks for quality and capability in manufacturing.

Selection criteria for the Company of the Year – Fabrication award include quality system performance, innovation through Industry 4.0 technologies, continuous improvement and safety.

In 2025, ACCIONA’s Mechanical and Electrical team secured three significant accreditations:

  • ISO 3834 Accreditation, the international standard for comprehensive quality requirements
  •  Level 2A Certification from Steel Sustainability Australia / ASI, recognising sustainable steel practices
  • AS/NZS 5131-CC3 Accreditation, the highest level of structural steel fabrication compliance in Australia

These milestones reinforce ACCIONA’s commitment to quality, sustainability and industry best practice. They also position the business strongly for future projects and sector leadership.

ACCIONA’s recent achievements in these areas were central to its success.
