Aldoga Solar Farm

• With construction completed in March 2025, the project is progressing through its commissioning phase and is on track to be fully operational and feed up to 387MW into the National Electricity Market grid, in the coming months, some seven months ahead of schedule. 
• With commissioning well underway, ACCIONA Energia have established the local operations team with 13 people now employed to operate the site.
• The operations team recently moved into the purpose-built Operations and Maintenance (O&M) building, which is located next to the newly constructed maintenance and storage warehouse.
• It is expected that decommissioning of the construction site offices will commence in October 2025.
• The Community Engagement Committee continues to meet regularly, having held five meetings to date.
• The Powering Business and Communities Program in partnership with Central Queensland University will be open for applications on the 1st of September. This program provides a $25,000 grant for energy-related research and development initiatives targeted at businesses and community organisations.

MacIntyre Wind Farm

• The MacIntyre Wind Farm has achieved a major milestone with the successful commissioning of 115 of its 162 wind turbines. The wind farm is going through grid tests and is already exporting up to 461 MW of clean energy from 81 generating wind turbines.
• With construction activities nearing completion, focus is now moving to our Rehabilitation Plan where the project will significantly reduce its footprint and work with landowners to return the land back to farming.
• The recently completed Operations and Maintenance (O&M) building is now open, serving as the operational hub for the MacIntyre Wind Farm. This modern facility provides a dedicated space for monitoring, maintenance, and coordination activities. It is situated adjacent to the northern substation, in the heart of the 32,000ha site.
