    Tampa Bay Desalination Plant

    Completion of construction for the desalination plant, operation and maintenance over 20 years, and provision of solutions to operational problems in the facility since its start-up.

    It has a capacity of 108,000 m3/d, and is the largest desalination plant in the United States. It is designed to provide at least 10% of the water consumed in the Tampa Bay region.

    It received the Global Water Intelligence 2008 Award for the Desalination Plant of the Year, in recognition of the desalination industry's most representative technological advance in 2007.
