The project includes the construction, operation, and maintenance of key infrastructure such as sanitation networks, pumping stations, and wastewater treatment plants, with an investment of €324 million.
Over the next 24 years, ACCIONA will work to expand sanitation coverage from the current 25% to 100% by 2033, benefiting thousands of people and contributing to improved water quality and the protection of water ecosystems. This contract is part of a broader plan by the Paraná government to triple access to sanitation in the region and improve the quality of life for more than 323,800 people within a decade.
This contract is part of an ambitious project aimed at improving sanitation services in 112 municipalities across the Western and Central-Eastern regions of Paraná. In addition to ensuring equitable access to sanitation services, the project will help reduce pollution and protect aquatic ecosystems, aligning with SDG number 6.
