Since 1982, Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria's Tidy Towns & Cities Sustainability Awards have recognised the projects and people that make Victoria's towns and cities more sustainable, resilient and beautiful. In 2026, ACCIONA became the sponsor of the awards' Community category. NEED TO CONFIRM BIRTHDAY
The ACCIONA Community award recognises projects that build stronger, more resilient and more connected communities and local economies, in regional towns and in our cities. It's a natural fit for a company that builds wind farms, rail and roads alongside Victorian communities every day.
Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria is one of Australia's longest-standing environmental not-for-profits, inspiring community action to protect and enhance the environment. Its Tidy Towns & Cities awards have grown well beyond keeping places tidy: today they celebrate achievements across ten categories, from litter and energy to heritage, Indigenous culture and wellbeing.
Entries are judged in two streams: Tidy Towns for projects in regional and rural shires, and Tidy Cities for projects in city councils. That means a community centre in Kyabram and a human rights organisation in Footscray can each be recognised on their own terms.
ACCIONA sponsors the Community category, which rewards projects that leave a community or local economy stronger and more resilient. CONFIRM what ACCIONA is contributing: financial prize, presence at the gala, promotion, volunteering
