Renewable energy projects can only happen with the agreement of landholders. In Australia, this usually means farmers. These partnerships are essential because they allow clean energy projects to be developed while supporting the people who manage the land. It’s a relationship built on trust and shared benefit.
Hosting wind or solar infrastructure provides farmers with a new income stream without disrupting their core business. It turns underused land into productive space and provides long-term economic security. For ACCIONA Energía, these partnerships make renewable energy possible. For farmers, they mean stability and resilience in a changing climate.
So we've been working with ACCIONA Energia for a bit over a year now and a couple of different projects that's funding six businesses per year over a five year period to be able to come through and do the Grazing for Profit School. What this partnership signals is a willingness to work together. It's nice to see and it ties in quite nicely.
