    Saint John DWTP

    The project has a global budget of 217 million Canadian dollars. ACCIONA is developing it in collaboration with Brookfield Financial & North American Contractors (NAC). It includes the design and construction, operation, rehabilitation and financing of a drinking water treatment plant (DWTP) with capacity of 75 million liters per day and a 33-million-liter water storage tank in Saint John in the province of New Brunswick, in the northeast of the country. The facility will serve 70,000 people.

    It also involves improvements to pumping stations and water storage system, as well as replacement of 22.4 kilometers of pipework and rehabilitation of another 19.3km.

    The works, which forms part of the Safe Clean Drinking Water Project (SCDWP) that Saint John is carrying out to guarantee access to quality drinking water by homes and businesses in the area.
