    Mt Gellibrand Wind Farm

    Winchelsea, Victoria (Australia)

Most of the land around Mount Gellibrand is privately owned and used for sheep farming. The plains are generally very flat, with a number of permanent lakes and wetlands, and also windy, making them an ideal site for a wind farm.

    Cathedral Rocks Wind Farm

    Port Lincoln, South Australia (Australia)

The site covers an area of about 29km², with a coastal exposure of nearly 11 kilometres. The Wind Farm consists of 33 two-megawatt wind turbines – generating enough green electricity to supply 35,000 homes every year.
