In 2017, ACCIONA reached an agreement to acquire the Geotech Group (Geotech), which included a specialist rail arm of the business, Coleman Rail. Coleman Rail is a construction contractor specialising in Metro, Freight & Heavy Haul and Light Rail infrastructure. Coleman Rail boosts ACCIONA offering across the rail sector allowing us to undertake the design & construction of almost all of the individual components that collectively make up the fixed rail infrastructure of a rail network.
ACCIONA Construction has undertaken several maritime projects for public and private customers worldwide. It has built innumerable ports, dry docks and shipyards, quayside berths and canals, and a large number of leisure marinas. ACCIONA Infrastructure as a Design and Construct JV partner of the Nexus Infrastructure consortium, awarded with the contract to design and construct the $1.6 billion Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC).
ACCIONA Infrastructure as part of the Pacifico Joint Venture, is responsible for the design and construction of the $550 million Pacific Highway Upgrade between Warrell Creek and Nambucca Heads, in New South Wales.
ACCIONA Infrastructure is the Principal Design and Construct JV partner of the ALTRAC consortium, awarded with the contract to design and construct the $2.1 billion Sydney CBD South East Light Rail.
ACCIONA Infrastructure was lead partner of the Transcity Joint Venture, for the design, construction, operate and 10 year maintenance of the $1.5 billion Legacy Way project, in Brisbane, Queensland.
